Warm air, picturesque skies, sights and sounds that entertain, and spending time with people we love. It’s summer – full of fun, relaxation, or possibly the exhilaration of experiencing new forms of entertainment while enjoying San Diego nights under the stars. Go to your calendar and schedule some family fun from this list of outdoor venues, events, and entertainment happening on a summer evening near you.

Encinitas

Play a drum.

The Drums of Fire public drum circle is open to all people and ages every Sunday at 6:00 PM at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas throughout the summer. Bring your own beach chair and drum. If you don’t have one, there are usually extras to use among the assortment of African, Middle Eastern, Navajo, and South American drums that the group brings to share. The purpose of the group is to enjoy unity and fellowship with others. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and joyful, so join the fun.
